General Terms
The following terms apply to all Timber Forge Woodworks projects:
Orders under $500 must be paid in full prior to project starting. If order is over $500, Timber Forge requires a non-refundable down payment of half of the project total to start. (Actual down payment percentages may be adjusted depending on project.) This down payment being received by Timber Forge Woodworks is also the valid contractual obligation of the payee to fulfill entire contracted amount on invoice pertaining to payee's project. Final existing balance must be paid prior to delivery. Please be advised that we will charge 5% interest per month on any outstanding balances.
Timber Forge and/or Coop Forge reserves the right to reasonably refuse, modify, pause, or conclude any project at any stage of the project timeline, including after initiation, if circumstances arise that compromise the integrity, feasibility, or original scope of the agreement. The client’s payment of the initial downpayment constitutes formal acceptance of the project quote and scope of work, creating a binding agreement.
Should the client choose to remove, alter, or withhold any deliverables, materials, or terms outlined in the original quote after this point—thereby altering the agreed-upon contract—Timber Forge and/or Coop Forge reserves the sole discretion to determine the appropriate path forward. This may include a revised scope of work, additional charges, or an early project conclusion under a mutually agreed upon resolution. In all such instances, Timber Forge and/or Coop Forge maintains the right to determine what constitutes a fair and reasonable resolution, including partial completion terms and associated compensation.
Timber Forge accepts these payments: Cash, Check, Square Invoicing (CC), PayPal, Venmo @TimberForge. Please make checks payable to "Timber Forge Woodworks".
Timber Forge accepts credit/debit cards, but a 2.9% processing fee will be added to invoice.
All live-edge wooden items will be close to clients' preferred dimensions. However, due to the inherent, amorphous nature of live-edge slabs, an allowance of up to 6" tolerance on overall dimensions is taken by Timber Forge.
Due to the complexities and unforeseen circumstances that can arise when making any custom items, Timber Forge reserves the right to make any final design, construction, or any aesthetic choices for any custom-built item. Timber Forge will use its discretion on whether the client should be notified or asked for approval on certain changes.
To date, Timber Forge has never had any large design issue with a client that was not remedied almost immediately. Thank you for your interest in us!
